Your role as Finance Business Partner
With reference to the Chief Financial Officer, you will join Group Finance in this newly established role.

You will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and his team and act as the primary financial sparring partner to Operations at both a strategic and operational level. The position holds a shared responsibility for performance management and P&L development across Operations.

Key responsibilities and key deliveries are:

· Business partnering: Provide proactive financial sparring to Operations management, with a focus on performance, profitability, and decision quality

· Investments & business cases: Prepare and validate CAPEX proposals, make-or-buy analyses, and footprint assessments

· Manufacturing & efficiency: Monitor capacity utilization, productivity, efficiency, and labor and overhead costs

· Operations & Supply Chain: Drive harmonization, optimization, and financial transparency across processes and workflows

· Inventory management: Further develop inventory processes, models, and working capital efficiency

· Governance & controlling: Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, and high data quality across Operations

· Procurement & spend management: Analyze purchasing data, cost drivers, and lead savings and value-creation initiatives

The Finance Business Partner has one employee in direct report. The position is based at Haarslev’s office on Funen, Denmark.

You enjoy working where finance meets operations and where your insights create real impact. You thrive close to the business, partnering with operations, supply chain, and management to turn data into clear, actionable decisions.

Just as importantly, you are motivated by building and strengthening robust processes, improving structures, and helping establish new, scalable ways of working across operations and the value chain.

You bring experience from finance business partnering or operations controlling in a manufacturing, industrial or project driven environment. You have a solid understanding of cost drivers, performance, and investments.

You communicate financial insights in a practical and constructive way. You are comfortable in supporting stakeholders at all levels but also challenging status quo.

You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, International Business, Controlling or similar. You speak and write English fluently.
