The company behind Jakobsen Home and Jakobsen Copenhagen is entering an exciting new phase of international expansion. Rooted in Danish design traditions since 1975 and built on full control of the value chain - from design and product development to production and delivery - the organization has established end-to-end production as a core commercial and creative strength. This integrated setup enables speed, flexibility, quality assurance, and close alignment with customer and market needs, and has been fundamental in building a strong platform across white label, B2B, and branded design.
With an established international white label and B2B business alongside a rapidly growing branded concept, the organization is now scaling across Europe and strengthening its multi-brand strategy. To support this journey, they are looking for an ambitious and commercially strong Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to join the leadership team and accelerate international growth across both brands.
This is a newly established, group-level CCO position that will play a central role in elevating the overall commercial function and supporting the organization’s growth strategy.
You will lead the development and execution of a unified global commercial and sales strategy spanning both the white label and B2B business (Jakobsen Home) and the rapidly expanding branded concept (Jakobsen Copenhagen). Your mandate is to create clarity, structure, and commercial direction across markets, channels, and customer segments.
A key part of the role will be to help build a new commercial hub in central Copenhagen, bringing sales leadership, customer insight, and commercial decision-making closer to brand, product, and creative development. You will be instrumental in shaping a more commercial, customer-centric organization and culture as the business scales together with brand and marketing competencies.
At the same time, this is a hands-on senior sales leadership role. You are expected to lead from the front, actively engaging with key customers, developing priority markets, and driving commercial performance across regions.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement the global sales and go-to-market strategy for both brands, ensuring clear differentiation, strong value propositions, and commercial focus
Actively drive international sales growth, including direct involvement with key accounts, partners, and strategic customers
Identify and prioritize markets, channels, and customer segments to fuel scalable growth
Build, lead, and professionalize a high-performing sales organization, with structured processes, clear roles, and disciplined pipeline management
Ensure data-driven forecasting, pricing management, and performance tracking across regions
Strengthening retailer collaboration through trade marketing initiatives, showroom concepts, and the use of customer insights
Play a key role in shaping a commercial and customer-centric culture, embedding structure, accountability, and collaboration
Partner closely with the CEO, management team and brand and marketing to drive cross-organizational development and support future scaling efforts
You are a commercial leader with a strong sales DNA and a proven ability to deliver growth in international markets.
More than 5 years of sales management or commercial leadership experience, with documented sales growth achievements
Strong background in B2B sales, ideally spanning both branded and private label environments
Proven ability to build scalable sales processes and commercial structures in growing organizations
Hands-on and execution-driven, comfortable balancing strategy with direct customer engagement
Data-driven, structured, and commercially sharp, with strong business judgement
Experience from furniture, design, interiors, or adjacent lifestyle categories is an advantage
The organization is transitioning towards a more unified group structure and is establishing a new Copenhagen office to support brand building, commercial development, and creative excellence. As CCO, you will be central to shaping this transformation. You will help build a modern commercial platform, create strong links between sales, brand, and product, and ensure the organization is equipped to scale internationally. This is a role with significant influence on how the company grows, sells, and collaborates going forward.
