The role
As a part of 145 Coordinator, you play a central role in ensuring the planning, coordination and execution of maintenance activities in the Part 145 you act as the operational link between planning, production. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role also acts as Deputy Maintenance Manager and contributes directly to maintaining compliance, safety operational efficiency, and high standards of airworthiness, areas subject to ongoing audits and follow-up.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of maintenance activities in our Hangars in close collaboration and dialogue with supervisors and technicians, where approximately 25 technicians work on maintaining the helicopter fleet, line and heavy maintenance. Additionally, responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our technicians staff, with focus on safety standards, a priority focus area for us and our customers.
Key Responsibilities
You will take on a broad and varied role, including:
Planning and coordinating all Part 145 base maintenance activities
Ensuring availability of personnel, tools, equipment, and materials for maintenance execution
Supporting production planning, work package control, and certification flow
Coordinating external maintenance activities and leased equipment/tools
Ensuring effective shift handovers and clear communication across teams
Maintaining proper documentation and traceability of maintenance activities
Supporting compliance with Part 145 requirements, internal procedures, and regulatory standards
Monitoring performance, capacity, and resource utilisation within the hangar
Coordinating payroll-related registrations such as working hours, overtime, and leave for hangar staff
Taking responsibility for tools, equipment, and overall hangar operational readiness
Follow-up on apprentices and trainees in relation to training plans and school placements
Contributing to continuous improvement, optimisation, and efficient workflows
Your Profile
We are looking for a structured and dependable professional with strong coordination skills and a natural ability to lead through presence and clarity.
You likely bring:
Relevant experience from helicopter or aircraft maintenance (required)
Solid knowledge of EASA Part 145 (required)
Experience working with maintenance systems and documentation
Strong administrative and organisational skills
A structured, detail-oriented approach with the ability to maintain overview in a dynamic environment
A proactive mindset with a focus on optimisation and efficiency improvements
The ability to lead and coordinate without formal authority
Strong communication skills and the ability to work across cultures
Experience working in an international environment (the team represents multiple nationalities)
You are comfortable taking responsibility, working independently, and ensuring that tasks are followed through with diligence and precision.
Some travel activity should be expected.
