Your role as Senior Project Manager
As a Senior Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage international customer projects from signed contract to customer handover. This includes financial management and resource planning for the projects in the department, as well as the commercial responsibility for customers in collaboration with sales and your own team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Project planning and management, including resource and delivery planning
- Overall responsibility for timely ordering of various equipment and materials from Haarslev's supply chain and external subcontractors
- Responsible for budget schedule (milestones and deadlines), quality, project profitability, and risk management
- Customer and supplier engagement, with a focus on increasing customer satisfaction
- Budgeting and financial reporting
- Leading and developing your team of 2 Technical Project Managers, 1 Project Manager, and 2 Project Engineers
You will play a key role in motivating, coaching, and developing your team members, ensuring they succeed both professionally and personally. At the same time, you will have a direct influence on shaping how Haarslev delivers complex, large-scale projects worldwide.
Your team is based at Haarslev headquarters. As customer proximity is a priority, you should expect approximately 25-50 travel days annually.

What we are looking for
We are seeking a candidate with solid experience in managing complex projects – ideally within process-oriented industries and in an international environment. You may hold a background as a marine engineer or engineer, combined with strong commercial, technical, and managerial insight.
In addition, you bring the following qualities:
- A strong customer focus and commercial mindset
- Responsibility, independence, and proactivity – with the courage to challenge the status quo
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to manage a high degree of variation while maintaining a clear overview
