Then you might be Danish Crown’s next Director of Internal & Leadership Communication.

In autumn 2024, Danish Crown launched a three-phase transformation to deepen business insight, boost competitiveness, and build a simpler, more effective operating model.

Phase two has now begun. As Director of Internal & Leadership Communication, you will work closely with the rest of the Corporate Communication team, helping to shape strategy and the broader corporate communication agenda.

About the position: High-level communications and senior advisory

As the new Director of Internal & Leadership Communication, you will align internal and executive messaging with Danish Crown’s vision and strategic priorities, ensuring clarity, consistency, and engagement at all levels.

You will proactively plan and create a variety of content, including presentations, announcements, articles, videos, and internal social media posts, shared across multiple channels with both office and production employees.

Beyond your daily tasks, you will use your strong interpersonal skills to advise leaders across Danish Crown’s business units on internal communication and effective messaging. You will position communication as a vital part of leadership and champion its role in driving engagement and alignment.

Your tasks will primarily include:

• Supporting the transformation agenda
• Advising top and senior leaders on various communication matters
• Producing a variety of content and managing all internal communication channels
• Leading major communication projects e.g. digitalisation of comms to frontline workers

There is no formal leadership in the role, but you will be professionally responsible for the internal – and leadership communication, being supported by your communication colleagues. The team presently consists of 9 dedicated team members. In addition, there are approximately eight communications professionals embedded in the business units.

About you: Experienced Communication leader with a global outlook

We are looking for someone who is dedicated to transforming one of Denmark’s largest companies – and who can lead internal communication while producing leadership and employee communications with a significant impact.

You have solid experience from a similar role. Ideally, you have worked with internal communication for 10–15 years in a global organisation or agency and have supported a business through a transformation. You have likely combined your practical skills with a master’s degree in journalism or communication.

A key success factor in this role is your ability to build strong relationships and become the go-to person for communication matters across the Danish Crown Group.

You know how to navigate a complex stakeholder landscape to achieve real business impact. You are proactive, action-oriented, persistent, and analytical, with strong interpersonal skills that help you turn strategic priorities into practical results.

Equally important, you are an excellent networker, communicator, and ambassador who motivates and inspires your team, your colleagues, and Danish Crown as a whole. You communicate effortlessly in English.
