About the Position
To support the continued growth and development of its logistics operations, JYSK is now looking to recruit a Finance Manager for its Logistics organization.
The Finance Manager will report directly to the Executive Vice President, Logistics Ole Thomsen, and will have a matrix reference to the Finance organization Led by Nina Sølgaard-Nielsen who is Director of FP&A. The Finance Manager is a member of JYSK Logistics Management Team and play a vital role in driving financial excellence and strategic decision-making across the logistics network.
You will lead and develop a team of more than 10 finance professionals, ensuring that logistics operations are cost-efficient and aligned with JYSK’s overall strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading monthly performance follow-ups and reporting, with a strong focus on explaining deviations and identifying underlying business drivers.
- Supporting strategic priorities within logistics through financial insights and acting as a sparring partner for Logistics Directors and Distribution Center Management Teams (DCMTs).
- Driving the annual budgeting process across all logistics operations, including support functions and distribution center budgets.
- Conducting deep-dive analyses, evaluating business cases, and tracking KPIs to identify performance improvement opportunities.
- Developing and implementing best-practice reporting tools and financial processes across all distribution centers.
- Collaborating closely with the Logistics Management Team, Planning and Support Managers, and Country Finance Managers to ensure financial and operational alignment.
While logistics experience is an advantage, a strong financial background and experience in stakeholder management is considered more important in this role.
The position is based at JYSK’s Distribution center in Uldum, with an expected presence at the Head office in Brabrand approximately once per week. The role includes approximately 30 travel days annually across JYSK’s European logistics network.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has several years of experience within financial management, controlling, and reporting – preferably from a large, international organization. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a skilled team are essential.
Key qualifications include:
- Solid experience controlling, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights.
- A structured and proactive work approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working in a matrix organization or cross-functional environments is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures.
