Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and operational Tax Manager to join our team as our senior specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s corporate tax operations, ensuring compliance with international tax regulations and optimizing tax efficiency across several Danish entities. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to handle tax planning, reporting and risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Tax Manager, you will report to the Managing Director and work with local and international tax laws. You will oversee tax reporting, compliance, and risk management processes across all operational regions on an operational and tactical level.
A key part of your role will be providing expert guidance on corporate tax matters, transfer pricing, VAT, and other indirect taxes.
You will collaborate with finance, legal, and operational teams to support tax planning and business decisions.
Additionally, you will monitor legislative changes and assess their impact on the organization’s tax position. Engaging with Danish tax authorities for tax audits, inquiries and negotiations will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring that tax policies and instructions are implemented and followed in Denmark. You will also oversee corporate tax compliance and participate in operational tax planning for companies within the Hellerup office.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have in-depth knowledge of Danish corporate tax law and international tax principles.

- You use your analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and to give advice to stakeholders.
- You are proficient in both Danish and English to build clear communication with all stakeholders.
- You know that working closely with other departments, such as finance and legal is key to ensure tax efficiency and compliance.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a master’s degree in Tax Law, Business Administration or a related field with a focus on taxation.
- A professional tax qualification in Denmark, such as Cand.Merc. JUR, legal counsellor/lawyer, or authorized public accountant, would be an advantage.
- Experienced Excel user, as well as familiarity with tax software and ERP systems commonly used in the Nordic regions.
